Trip Itinerary

Day 1 (Dinner)
Morning motorcoach departure from Elkins, WV (6:00am) (additional pick-up locations are possible) to begin a wonderful three-day tour that offers a fascinating of one of the world's greatest cities. Snacks will be available on board the motorcoach throughout the day as travel takes you north to New York City. Stops will be made throughout the day for lunch (on your own) and for the necessary rest and comfort breaks. An early evening arrival is planned for a two-night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Times Square Central, located adjacent to Times Square. At 5:30pm, we all come together and head out for our pre-theatre dinner at Gayle's Broadway Rose restaurant. The Broadway Rose features singing waitstaff presenting renditions of your favorite Broadway tunes. Tonight, you will experience one of Broadway's best and most endearing shows... West Side Story! This revival show is a modern retelling of Romeo and Juliet. Practically synonymous with New York City itself, it doesn’t get much better than a night on Broadway.
Day 2 (Breakfast/Lunch)
Another great day in New York City awaits! We meet our local guide this morning and hop on NYC’s famed subway system towards Downtown and Battery Park, where we’ll board our ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. You’ll have plenty of time to explore each of these American icon’s along with a voucher for lunch at either of the island’s cafe’s. Back in Manhattan, we’ll get to know the nearby Financial District on our guided walking tour, including Wall Street, “The Bull”, Trinity Church and St. Paul’s Chapel. Then we visit the moving National 9/11 Museum and Memorial, honoring the victims of the 2001 terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center. The Outdoor Memorial, it’s massive twin reflecting pools, and the expansive Museum are both must-see stops while in New York. After our visit we enjoy the cities best views atop One World Trade Center at the One World Observatory, 101 floors above the ground below! Our day together finishes after our subway ride back to Times Square and our hotel, where you’ll have the rest of the evening on your own to enjoy the great, central location.

Day 3 (Breakfast)
After another wonderful breakfast, we will walk to Rockefeller Center where you will have time to visit the Today Show, tour NBC Studios and generally explore one of the most famous areas of New York City all on your own. Following our time at Rockefeller Center, we once again meet our local guide and head to the nearby subway station for Lower Manhattan. Here, our guide takes us on a guided walking tour of both Chinatown and Little Italy. A short subway ride away, you’ll feel as if you’ve been transported to a different country! You’ll have the opportunity to bargain with the many street vendors, find a unique gift or try something different and delicious! In addition, you will have free time to shop and eat lunch (on your own).
After lunch, we make our way back to our hotel, where’ll we will load the motorcoach and depart for home. Your return trip aboard the motorcoach takes in the beautiful scenery along the way, while you reminisce on three exceptional days of tour and travel in the Big Apple! A stop will be made for dinner on your own mid-evening. Estimated time of return is 11:00pm.
